Beijing, China (Sports Network) - American heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder began competition Wednesday at the Beijing Olympics with a 10-4 victory over Algeria's Abdelaziz Touilbini. Wilder and Touilbini were tied at 4-4 after three rounds, but the U.S. fighter dominated the final two minutes of the round with six unanswered points. The victory sends Wilder into the quarterfinals to face Mohammed Arjaoui of Morocco. Arjaoui earned an 11-6 decision over Australia's Brad Pitt. The U.S. will also have a boxer in the night session on Wednesday, as light flyweight Luis Yanez takes on Spain's Jose Kelvin de la Nieve.
